This seminar will examine work permits applications via the Significant Benefit (section 205 IRPR) and Intra-company Transferee - Specialised Knowledge (sections 204 & 205 IRPR) categories. We will examine what constitutes "specialised knowledge" and a "significant benefit", and will review the legal requirements and processes for these categories. Moreover, we will discuss when to use each category, what should be addressed in your submission letter, and what to include when compiling the application. We will review your ethical obligations pertaining to the filing of these applications, in particular, items such as: integrity, honesty and candour when advising your client on these types of applications, and conflict of interest,
