Peggy is a certified Immigration Consultant in good standing in Chilliwack, British Columbia. She immigrated to Canada in 1994 as a successful entrepreneur, having owned and operated several multi-million $ businesses in Iceland. Peggy also previously lived in the US Virgin Islands, and Pennsylvania USA,where she pursued undergraduate studies after leaving her home country Guyana, South America.

in 1978, Peggy graduated with a BA in Chemistry from Shippensburg University of Pennsylvania. She worked for many years as a Research Chemist for the Agricultural Research Lab of Iceland and the University Hospital of Iceland, but her entrepreneurial spirit was bursting at the seams. She progressed from leasing one restaurant and then owning and operating 13 successful restaurants in less than eight years. The BBC in London, England crowned one of her renowned restaurants, the Taj Mahal Tandoori Restaurant as the world's most Northern Indian restaurant. Peggy still owns the title in Iceland as the 'Queen of Restaurants'.

Peggy has shared her business acumen in Canada by owning and operating several highly successful restaurants and catering operations, including a bakery. She owns the brand name Peggy's Kitchen. Always searching for new challenges, our queen of restaurants returned to university to become an immigration consultant. She graduated with top honour in the Immigration certificate program: Law, Policies and Procedures from the University of British Columbia (UBC), Continuing Studies.

Eager to make a difference in the sluggish economy of Iceland, Peggy returned to present immigration seminars to business executives and skilled workers, in Iceland who were looking for better opportunities in Canada. While managing her own immigration consulting firm, Peggy has served as Director and Board Member for the Chilliwack Chamber of Commerce. She was elected BC Chapter President of the Canadian Association of Professional Immigration Consultants (CAPIC) in April 2011. While serving on the CAPIC National Board, she became involved in organizing quality immigration education seminars, which were previously in very short supply in BC.

Peggy currently sits on the Board of Directors of numerous organizations in Canada and abroad. She is a highly sought after business awards committee judge.
