IMEDA is producing about 30-35 educational events each year. In total, it’s more than 100 CPD hours. Some seminars are targeted to a more junior audience, others to our senior clients but each of them offers a grain of wisdom and often spurs an idea that can be used in your practice. We are striving to offer education in all areas of immigration law, practice management, ethics and professionalism – and we hope you will like them all. We are open to ideas, feedback, comments and your complaints.. Whether you like something more than usually or if we failed to deliver on a promise – we want to know, so talk to us.
We have redesigned our entire website and prepared several new services and offerings:
- We are offering a 20% discount to all new customers who create an account on IMEDA website to help them offset the cost of the first purchase. No matter how many seminars you purchase on the first order within 7 days of creating the account, you can use the discount code to get 20% off the regular price. Please note – the discount code is created automatically, emailed to you after you create and activate the account and cannot be extended under any circumstances. It expires automatically.
- Students of immigration program will receive 50% discount on all our seminars/webinars/recordings for the entire period of their studies, until 60 days after completion of their program. Every student that creates a new account on IMEDA website and uploads their student ID, will automatically receive a discount code worth 50% off unlimited orders for a period up to 60 days after they complete the program.
Talking about creating an account…
It is free, does not obligate you to buy anything. However, the system is set up so that every account that does not reflect at least one purchase, will be automatically terminated exactly 90 days after its creation. That is to save the resources on our website and make administration of the website and our customers easier on staff. Nothing stops you from creating a new account if you feel like you want to order something at a later date.
Now to the other stuff…
We worked very hard to test all our offers. The backbone of the website is newly built and while tested, still can result in occasional glitches; If you encounter any problem, we suggest you check the Help section first. But do not hesitate to contact us.
You will find two phone numbers to reach us on our website: the 416 number is only for English speaking customers, the 514 number answers both in English and French. Emails to office email will be answered both in English and French. As always, we prefer emails to phone calls but understand that some situation require urgent response.
If you leave a message, please do not leave a general phone number where we have to investigate who called and how to get back to you. Leave us your direct number, cell number, of even if you leave your CCIC or law society ID, we can identify you. You can also use our online chat – even if we are not available to talk to you at the moment, you can leave us a message in the chat and we will respond to you as soon as possible.
Our promotional and informational emails are sent through Constant Contact. IMEDA Watch and IMEDA Express newsletters, information about new scheduled seminars, new services or announcement of a sale… We are still working on bringing back Learning moments and perhaps will be able to start again soon… stay tuned.
