Debbie Mankovitz, Barrister and Solicitor, QC
Debbie Mankovitz is a litigation lawyer who represents a range of clients in a justice-oriented practice. She has appeared before the Federal Court of Canada, Quebec Court of Appeal, Superior Court, Court of Quebec and Municipal Court, as well as diverse administrative tribunals, and the Tax Court of Canada.
Debbie holds two law degrees from McGill University in both Civil and Common law, as well as a Graduate Diploma in Legal Anthropology from the University of Cauca in Colombia, S.A. Prior to becoming a member of the bar in 2007, Debbie was a student researcher for the Honourable Madame Justice Pierrette Rayle of the Quebec Court of Appeal, and had done contract work for the Canadian Forces Leadership Institute, the University of Cauca, and DuPont Canada.
Debbie is a member of the Quebec Bar and the Quebec Immigration Lawyers Association. In 2004, she was the recipient of the Honourable Mr. Justice Morris J. Fish Internship in Law to pursue work related to social justice and human rights in Canada.
