Daniel received a B.A. (Honours) from Queen's University and his LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School in Toronto. At Osgoode, Mr. Kingwell graduated in the top 10 per cent of his class and won the Prize in Immigration Law. Daniel was called to the Ontario Bar in 2001.
Daniel Kingwell practises in all areas of immigration law, but his focus is with hearings before the Immigration and Refugee Board and the Federal Court of Canada. He has appeared before a variety of courts and tribunals since 1995.
Based in Toronto, Daniel plans frequent trips to South Korea, to meet clients. He lived and worked in Seoul in 1997 and 1998.
Daniel is fluent in English and French, and is conversant in Korean.
