Quoi de neuf en immigration ?
Sylvie became an immigration consultant in 1996 after a successful career in communications. Today, Sylvie is President of LB Immigration and she is involved in the consulting community on many levels.
Graduating with Honours from the Y.C.I.T. Immigration Practitioner Program, Sylvie was later sought after as an instructor to teach the French language online immigration program. She is an expert in the Quebec provincial immigration program and in the federal immigration programs.
As a volunteer Board Director of the Québec Chapter of CAPIC for many years, Sylvie and her colleagues organized education and professional development seminars for members. She was a member of the initial Board of Directors of ICCRC. Determining solutions to common problems can be daunting, but Sylvie’s character strengths, optimism and resilience has played a significant role in championing and in managing the short and long term goals of the newly formed ICCRC.
Sylvie’s love of education, professional development and continuous learning has brought her back to teaching immigration law, policies and practices. In 2012, she joined a team of instructors who teach the Immigration Practitioner Program offered by the Cégep St-Laurent in Montréal.
