Description

Canada includes a humanitarian component in its immigration program.

Applicants who would not normally be eligible to become permanent residents of Canada may be able to apply on humanitarian and compassionate (H&C) grounds in exceptional circumstances.

Some factors that are considered under H&C grounds include:
1. Establishment in Canada;
2. Best Interest of the Child(ren); and,
3. Degree of Hardship in Return

We will also look at factors that are not considered under H&C grounds and the reasons why.

Tips will be shared on how to submit an effective submission under this category.
