Description

Preparing business immigration applications

NEW RULES for LMIA as of April 1, 2021

LMIAs for owners are alive and well! We will discuss:
- How to meet the advertising requirements
- When to apply if the investment is less than 50%....or even 25%
- How to have more than one applicant per business!
- Building a successful file
No “policy variations” means none of the current restrictions apply, either, such as 51% ownership.

In his previous presentations on business immigration, Phil Mooney focused on how to find and handle business immigrant applicants. It this seminar, Phil will talk about the practical aspects of a business immigration case - what documents your client will need, how to get them, how to compile them in a file that will have the best chances to succeed. A lot of tips and advice.

“Winning Business Immigration Strategies”

You will learn how to take a Business Immigrant prospect from enquiry, to qualifying to a signed Retainer.

Then, doing a case study using real word examples, learn how to prepare a file, including submission letters and levels of evidence, deal with ESDC and/or IRCC requirements, until your client is approved.

Competencies covered:

O/O LMIAs, Intra Company Transfers, Treaty Investors, PNPs, Work Permits, Express Entry, Submission Writing.
