Description

Immigration support for international students
Is your toolkit up-to-date?

This seminar will illuminate international student support in BC post-secondary educational settings by highlighting the intricacies of institutional policies and immigration regulations that do not always intersect harmoniously.

From newly admitted to entering the post-graduation phase, learn different ways of supporting international students throughout their journey from institutional representatives and Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultants. Case studies and ethical dilemmas will allow participants to appreciate how a holistic approach can lead students to empowerment, resilience and self-management of their immigration status during their stay in Canada. Exciting new opportunities for immigration practitioners with detailed know-how.
